About NJB:
National Junior Basketball is a nonprofit organization that was founded by Dennis Murphy, Jr. in 1984. Murphy was previously a coach at Garden Grove High School when he had vision of a youth basketball league based on sportsmanship and player development.
NJB has blossomed into a national youth league with over 25,000 participants in 6 states. The program offers four divisions for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
The Rookie division is for K, 1st and 2nd graders, stressing fundamental skills and personal growth. The Divisional Program is for 3rd - 8th graders stressing fundamental skill development, personal growth and competition. The All-Net Program is for the advanced players grades 5th - 8th. This division prepares the athlete for high school competition.The High School Program is for 9th through 12th grade players who did not make their high school team who want the ability to play and develop their individual skills.

DELTA NJB
The Delta Chapter of NJB is comprised of geographical areas including Lodi, Stockton, Weston Ranch, Manteca, Ripon and other surrounding areas. Athletes practice twice per week and compete in games throughout a 10 week regular season. End of season playoff tournaments will be held at end of regular season. All athletes have opportunity to make an All Star Team and compete for chance to attend the National All Star Tournament in Southern CA. This chapter interleagues with the Modesto and Tracy chapters and game locations are scheduled between the 3 chapters.
All Net divisions will play 14 game regular season. All Net divisions will interleague with Tracy, Modesto and Alameda Sections. All Net Divisions will compete in end of season tournament for chance to advance to Nationals in Southern CA.
All games are played on Sundays beginning in December. Season will begin with practices in November and end in March. Season schedules will be available prior to the start of the first scheduled game.
